New areas of application due to special dimensional quality
The special dimensional stability of woven plush fabrics and their excellent resistance and properties with regard to disinfection using chemicals and steam are opening up new fields of application in the medical and care sectors.
As pile materials, primarily lint-free soft filament yarns are suitable which, in combination with microbicidal fibres, prevent the growth of bacteria, mould, and fungi. Our plush fabrics are washable at 95 degrees and can be supplied with or without coating (e.g. anti-slip properties) on request.
The pile layer forms a heat- and pressure-compensating cushion which, together with a very high absorption of liquids, opens up new fields of application.
For medical and hygiene applications, durability, cleanliness, and comfort in contact are what really matter.
Our pile fabrics are designed for disinfection-resistant processes and stand out with low linting. Soft, pressure-compensating pile structures increase comfort and liquid absorption.
Optionally available with functional finishes or anti-slip properties. Developed for applications where reliability is not an add-on, but a must.
